A/2c Frank J. Grucelski (Military Notes - 1967)

A/2c Frank J. Grucelski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Casey C. Grucelski of Rt. 1 Thorp, has been recognized for helping his unit with the coveted air force outstanding unit award.

Airman Grucelski, an aircraft equipment repairman at Francis E. Warren AFB, Wyo., will wear the distinctive blue service ribbon as a permanent decoration as a member of the 1370th photo mapping wing.

The wing was cited for accomplishing an extensive aerial photo mapping survey and related geodetic missions well ahead of schedule and at cost savings.

The airman, a graduate of Thorp high School, attended Stout State University - Menomonie.
