Our town has caught the epidemic, not the measles or the whooping cough, but the progressive euchre craze.

Charles Campbell and wife of Maple Works (Clark Co., Wis.), were here the first of the week visiting relatives and friends.

George Campbell and wife of Neillsville, came over last Saturday to attend the wedding of their brother, E. Campbell.

We learn that Bert Cornell, foreman of Stiles and Tripp's logging camp, fell and hurt his face quite badly one day last week.

A load of young people from Fairchild came down last Sunday evening to attend church and have a sleigh ride. Come again.

Quite a number from this village participated in the Soldiers' dance at Alma Center Monday evening. They report a pleasant time.

D. Bunce and son of Sheldon, Iowa, made Will Gilmon and family a short visit this week. Mr. Bunce is a cousin of Mrs. Gilmon.

Till Spencer and Miss May Race boarded the eleven o'clock train Saturday. They returned the same day. Wonder where they went.

Quarterly meeting will be held in this village Friday and Saturday, this week. It is expected Elder Tresider will be present, and those who desire to hear an eloquent speaker should not fail to be presents.
