Kalsow, Pearl L. (Marriage - 14 October 1967)

Nuptial vows were repeated Saturday in a double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Pearl L. Kalsow of Beaver Dam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kalsow of Neillsville, and James Tank of Beaver Dam, son of Mrs. Carl Tank and the late Mr. Tank of Menasha.

The Rev. D. Raddatz of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam performed the ceremony. The Rev. W. F. Vatthauer of Fairfax, Minn., delivered the sermon.

Bouquets of white chrysanthemums and carnations and candelabra graced the altar.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white crepe Décor, floor-length gown of Empire styling. A white chapel train cascaded from the back to the floor. Her elbow-length veil of silk illusion was fastened to a headpiece of silk illusion leaves, pearls and fabric roses. She carried a white Bible, topped with red sweetheart roses, centered with a white orchid.

Miss Petra Kalsow of St. Paul, Minn., twin sister of the bride, was her maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Helene I. Kalsow, sister of the bride, of St. Paul, Minn., Arlene Weiss and Diane Kiesow, both of Beaver Dam, friends of the bride.

Roger Benter, a friend of the groom, was bestman. Groomsmen were Hilbert Wilde of New London, a classmate; Dennis Grulke of Beaver Dam, a friend; and Duaine Stillman of Menasha brother-in-law.

The bride is a graduate of St. John’s Lutheran School in Neillsville, Neillsville High School and Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn., from which she was graduated with a bachelor’s degree. She teaches in St. Stephen’s Lutheran School in Beaver Dam.

Mr. Tank, a graduate of Trinity Lutheran School in Menasha, also is a graduate of Wisconsin Northwestern Prep School in Watertown and of Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn., from which he holds a bachelor’s degree. He also teaches in St. Stephen’s Lutheran School in Beaver Dam.

Mr. and Mrs. Tank are residing at Rt. 2 Beaver Dam.
