John Cook has moved his family to Neillsville.

D.B. Travis of Altoona did business in town Monday and Tuesday.

Mrs. Len Hartman is at Fairchild for several weeks visit with friends.

Tell Spencer came down from Eau Claire last Saturday for a short visit.

Chester Crandall and wife spent Saturday and Sunday at Augusta with friends.

The frosts Sunday and Monday nights did no damage to speak of in this region.

Mrs. H.D. Cooley of Eau Claire is in town visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Cross.

Mrs. Winship of Tunnel City arrived yestereday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Warren Page.

Fred Robertson of york was here Monday and Tuesday, the guest of his brother and family.

Miss Nellie Jennings will close her school Thursday and will start Saturday for her home at Beaver Dam.

Miss Lillie Jenkins and Miss Minnie Andrus have returned from Fall Creek, where they have been attending school.

E. Phalen and wife returned Monday from York Center, where they had been to visit Mrs. P.'s father, who is very ill.

Everyone should attend the ice cream and strawberry festival next Friday evening, at Carter's Hall, for the benefit of Rev. Galloway.

Miss Mollie Gibson left for her home at Trempealeau Monday. She leaves many warm friends who regret very much to have her leave.
