Pleasant Ridge (26 October 1967)
Mr. and Mrs. Arne Eisentraut and daughters of Rockford, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs.
Elmer Dahlke and sons of Milwaukee, spent a few days last week at the Carl
Eisentraut home.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vine of Chicago, Ill., were weekend guests of his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine, and her mother, Mrs. Melba Campbell, in Neillsville.
Mrs. David Eisentraut entertained a group of small children in honor of the
fifth birthday of her daughter, Jeanie Marie.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Babka and family of Black River Falls spent the weekend with
her father, Art Hubing.
Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bills of Madison spent a week recently at their home. Their
son-in-law, Bill Guk and Three sons, of Madison, were weekend guests. Mrs. Bills
accompanied them back to Madison and Mr. Bills remained to help with the farm
work at the Vernon Drescher home.
Mrs. Nellie Yankee and her daughter, Mrs. William Novatny, of Oshkosh, were
guests one day last week at the Genevieve Hantke home.
Mrs. Genevieve Hantke attended a homemaker meeting Monday evening at the home of
Mrs. Alfred Foemmel and demonstrated the making of doormats from bale ties.
