A.W. Hubble is on the sick list this week.
R.H. Gile and C. Hollenbeck came up Monday on business.
R. Blaisdell of augusta did business in town Monday.
Mr. Ward returned Monday from his visit in Minneapolis.
S.P. Andrus is putting the hard finish on the M.E. church.
Albert Alderman has improved his residence by a coat of paint.
Mrs. Fred Robinson returned Monday evening from Eau. Claire.
Mrs. Little of Fairchild is visiting her daughter, Mrs. S.F. Andrus.
E.A. Freeman made a trip to Altoona Saturday, returning Sunday.
Fred Baxter boarded a train Saturday for Mazomonie to visit a sister who is very
ill.
Fred Robertson of York, was the guest of his brother and family the first of the
week.
Frank Backus and R. Albright, who are working at Millston, came up Saturday,
returning Sunday.
Misses Tabbie and Lillie Hobbs of Eau Claire visited several days last week with
Mr. Stallard's people.
Mr. and Mrs. Hecock, Minnie Stiles and Minnie Andrus attended the commencement
exercises at Merrillan Friday evening.
Our long wished for rain came Sunday and Monday, which did much good to the
crops. Hail fell here Monday afternoon, but did no damage so far as ascertained.
