with her.
Our present pastor, Rev. Holt, spoke to this people last Sunday evening for the
first time.
Mr. Salone's people went to Garden Valley Monday to attend the funeral of a
little son of Albert Blake's.
A large party of people, old and young, gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
E.A. Freeman for a surprise last Friday evening. Although the news arrived
before the company, they were just as welcome, and a jolly time was had by all
present.
Pat Beckett met with a sad accident last Thursday while pulling grubs on Nic
Haun's farm. A chain broke, causing the sweep to fly back, hitting him on the
leg just below the knee, fracturing one bone. Dr. Andrews was summoned, and in a
short time the patient was resting easy. He is getting along nicely at the
present writing.
