A sister of H.E. Wescott's arrived here last Friday for a visit.
H. Stiles will send a crew of men in his camp on Section 35, Wednesday.
C.C. Edwards left Monday for Altoona to work a few days for E.A. Freeman.
Miss Carlton of Merrillan was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Hickok over Sunday.
Mrs. W.G. Albright, who has been visiting a son at New London, returned home
Saturday.
O.G. Tripp of Neillsville was over looking after business matters before leaving
for Florida.
Mrs. Morris of Warren Mills came Sunday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Art Walrath,
who is ill.
Mrs. Art Freeman of Altoona, who has been visiting at E.A. Freeman's, returned
to her home last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Bell and family visited E.D. Carter's people the first of the week,
returning Tuesday to their home at Tomah.
Miss Mamie Carter, who is attending school at Milwaukee, came home last week to
spend Thanksgiving, returning Tuesday.
Preparations are being made for a literary entertainment at the church next
Saturday evening. We hope to see a good attendance.
A surprise party occurred last Friday evening at the residence of Mr. Cregg, for
his daughter, miss Nettie, it being her 18th birthday. A nice time was reported
by those present.
