Rahn, Martha (1887? - 19 AUG 1963)
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Rahn, 78, of Unity, who died Aug. 19, 1963,
were held Thursday, Aug. 22 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Leroy Urman officiated at the services and at the interment, which was
made at the Green Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Albert Mandel, Walter Fink, Carl Borchert, Clarence Farning,
Riley Neuman and Ed Frome.
Soloist Kenneth Schultz, accompanied by Mrs. L. Priem, sang "What a Friend We
Have in Jesus" and "Nearer My God to Thee."
Freinds and relatives from out of town attending included Mr. and Mrs. Wiegman
and son and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Wiegman, Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stecker,
Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wiegman, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wiegman and Mr.
and Mrs. Walter Altenberger, Chicago; Mrs. Mildred Fuller and daughters, New
London; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Meyer, Plover; Rev. and Mrs. M.C. Goetsch, Merrill;
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Eckert, Kiel; Miss Pauline Altenberger, Sheboygan; Mrs.
Francis Taushek and Mrs. Bertha Taushek, Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Binning,
Mr. and Mrs. John Marx and Mrs. Duane Riedel, Marshfield; Mrs. Arnold Meyer and
son tom, Sheboygan; and Mrs. Henry Rahn, Neillsville, as well as many friends
from Colby, Unity, Spencer, Owen, Loyal and Abbotsford.
