Edward J. Steder, 74, of 629 South 19th St., Manitowoc, veteran employee of the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company for nearly 50 years, died Tuesday morning at his home, following a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9 a.m. at the S t Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Clement Kern will officiate and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc He was born in Newton in 1879 and in 1900 married Miss Mary Lax. He entered, the employ of the Aluminum Goods Company before the turn of the century and on retirement three years ago had been employed .for 48 years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Woida and Mrs. George Mailand Jr., of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hablewitz of Manitowoc and Mrs Anna Scholey of Kenosha; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

FUNERALS STEDER--Edward J., 74, of 620 South 19th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at his home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Rev. Clement Kern will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday after 2 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
