Koski, Donna Lee (Marriage - 4 November 1967)
Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday by Miss Donna Lee Koski, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Arvo J. Koski of Rt. 1, Loyal, and Charles Ellison of Milwaukee, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ellison of Rt. 1 Loyal. The nuptial ceremony was repeated in
the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in South Green Grove, near Unity. The Rev. Arthur
Rasch officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.
Mis Koski was given in marriage by her father during a ceremony in which nuptial
music was played by Mrs. Calvin Schulz and Vern Dahlby. Mrs. Jean Voss was the
soloist.
The bride wore a brocade A-line gown that featured a chapel train. A pearl and
brocade pillbox headpiece held her shoulder pouf veil. She carried an
arrangement of phalaenopsis orchids and stephanotis.
Miss Dorothy Seebandt of Marshfield served as maid-of-honor. Miss Barbara
Hendrickson of Milwaukee was bridesmaid. The aides wore peacock blue chiffon
cage styled gowns over taffeta peacock peau de soie, with matching three-rose
cluster headpieces which held their pouf veils. Each carried wicher hoops, which
were affixed with bronze and white chrysanthemums.
Roger Ellison of Milwaukee was bestman, and James Koski of Johnson Creek served
as groomsman. Ushers were Jack Molle and David Fricke.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellison are 1965 graduates of Loyal High School. They will reside
in Milwaukee upon their return from a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin.
