Pleasant Ridge (1 APR 1915)
Mrs. Wm. Waterman went to Grand Rapids last Thursday to visit relatives,
returning home Monday.
John Vine and wife spent Sunday at Ed. Selves’.
Isabelle and Margaret Lowe spent Saturday and Sunday at Jim Hughes’.
Edna Brown is helping Mrs. Albert Schultz get settled this week.
Miss Hulda Schaefer spent the past two weeks at O.E. Counsell’s.
Florence and Elsie Huckstead were out of high school Monday on account of
sickness.
There was a big community meeting at the town hall Saturday night and there will
no doubt be a tussle in the red and blue contest.
School meeting at Arlo Huckstead’s Monday afternoon was well attended and plans
were completed for the building of a brick and cement school house and Tuesday
they began getting out the rock.
