Hewett (15 APR 1915)
David Wood and son, Earl, went to St. Paul Monday and bought a car load of
cattle.
Mrs. Bruny and son, Johnnie, were Sunday visitors at Mrs. Imoberstig’s.
Bennie Hart went to Alma Center Tuesday to look for work.
The roads are very good for this time of the year, and with the use of road
drag, they will soon be in fine shape.
There was a little party at John Durst’s Sunday evening for a few of the young
folks.
Several from here attended the bank opening Monday at the Neillsville Bank, and
it certainly is a beautiful building. The showing of the inside of the building,
the fine lunch, and music, also the purses given away were very much appreciated
by a large crowd.
School commenced here Monday after a four weeks’ vacation with Grace Woodcock as
teacher.
Charley Hart is working for H.B. Parker.
Henry Hart is working for Dave Wood.
