Norbert Bernard Micke was born to life on April 17, 1935, in a partial log home in the Town of Worden, rural Thorp, the son of Tony and Margaret (Benzschawel) Micke. He was raised in the Town of Worden and received his education at Busy Bee Grade School and Stanley high School. Buddy worked at the Owen Cannery for two years and then went to work for the Stanley Corporation, where he worked for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Thorp Foresters. Buddy had many interests, but especially enjoyed bowling, playing cards, winning, and a few drinks at the local pub.

He is survived by two sisters: Loretta Olinski of Pewaukee, and Rachel (Gene) Hill of Navarre, FL; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Rita Micke and Marie Ciokiewicz; two brothers-in-law: Frank Ciokiewicz and Wally Olinski; one niece, Linda Olinski; and one great-nephew, Tracy Ciokiewicz.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
