Anderson, Lucille (27 September 1923 - 26 December 2012)
Lucille Andreson, age 89, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, December 26,
2012, at the Chippewa Manor Nursing home. Lucille was born September 27, 1923,
at home, north of Cadott, the daughter of Ole & Dinah (Arneson) Swim. She grew
up in the Cadott area, attending area rural schools.
On October 29, 1947, she was united in marriage to LaMoine Anderson at the Big
Drywood Lutheran Church. They farmed on the edge of Stanley, raising their
family of five children, with Lucille later working as a CNA for the Clark
County Health Care Center, retiring at age 81. Lucille enjoyed spending time
with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and
visiting with others.
Lucille is survived by her children: Janice Swim of Eau Claire, Dennis (Chris)
Anderson of Stanley, DuWayne “Butch” (Pat) Anderson of Thorp, Deb (Larry) Taylor
of Champlin, MN; eight grandchildren; fifteen-plus great-grandchildren; and Dr.
Eugene Arneson.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband LaMoine in 1972; daughter,
Diane Anderson in 2009; sisters: Veletha Svoma, Olene Jensen, Arleva Boardman;
and brother, Eugene Swim Sr.
Services were held on Monday, December 31, 20112, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s
Lutheran Church, Stanley, with Pastor Lowell Bolstad officiating. Burial
followed in the Evergreen Cemetery, Stanley. Friends and family called from 1-4
p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, and one hour
prior to service time at the Church on Monday.
