Hart, Henry D. (22 October 1892 - 15 November 1967)

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Henry D. Hart, 75, of Rt. 2 Neillsville, who died November 15 at his home. The Rev. D. Eugene Sprague of the Assembly of God Church officiated. Burial was made in the Columbia Cemetery.

Mr. Hart, who was a veteran of World War I, was born October 22, 1892, in the Town of Pine Valley. A lifetime resident of Clark County, he attended rural schools. He enlisted June 6, 1917, for service in World War I and served with the Company A 3rd Wisconsin Infantry in France. He received his discharge in May 1919.
His marriage to the former Laura Haskins took place March 9, 1920, in Neillsville.

He is survived by his wife; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Youker of Syracuse, N. Y.; a foster sister, Mrs. Andrew (Vivian) Clausson of St. Paul, Minn.; a brother, Charles Hart, of Rt. 2, Neillsville.

Pallbearers were: Earl Marden, Carl Diercks, Chester Diercks, James Milton, Louie Meinholdt and Bertie Schultz. Wilfred Galstad sang, “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Abide with Me” accompanied by Miss Marilyn Galstad.
