Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Swenson expected to have as Thanksgiving guests their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Swenson and Mr. and Mrs. Hilbert Naedler.
Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Brekke and family were guests last Thursday of her mother,
Mrs. John Jurjella, in Stevens Point.
Martin Feuerstein is a medical patient in the Marshfield hospital.
Leo Neville and two sons of Madison were guests from last Thursday to Sunday of
Leo’s mother, Mrs. Anna Neville. The two boys returned Sunday to Madison and
school, and Mr. Neville and a hunting companion, Don Canter of Milwaukee,
remained this week to hunt. Mrs. Leo Neville and children of Madison arrived
Wednesday evening to spend Thanksgiving vacation.
Mrs. George Prochazka entertained her 500 card club Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Mary Wapp is convalescing at her home following hospitalization.
Mrs. Anne Wehe and Mrs. Max Statz are patients in Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene O’Brien and sons, and Jack O’Brien, of Milwaukee, spent the
weekend at the Harold Prock home for the opening of deer season.
Mrs. George Prochazka and Miss Stella Davis were in Nelsonville one day last
week, where they visited Mrs. Melvin Ure and paid their respects to Mrs. Ure’s
mother at a Nelsonville funeral home.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Maegdefessel returned home last week from a six-day trip to
Milwaukee and Fox Lake, Ill., where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Meyer.
Mrs. W. B. Tufts and Mrs. Neva Yorkston attended funeral services Tuesday
afternoon for Mrs. Anna Aanes.
Mrs. Flora Miller and son, Milan, of Alma, were guests Friday of Mrs. Charles
Maegdefessel.
Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hoebling of Chicago, Ill., are spending several days with her
mother Mrs. Mayme Blum. Mr. and Mrs. John Meyers of Chicago friends of the
Hoeblings were Thanksgiving guests at the Blum home.
Mr. and Mrs. William Appleyard and family of Wauwatosa spent the weekend with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Appleyard.
