There will be no church here Sunday, as this congregation is invited to attend
the mission festival at the Neillsville Lutheran Church.
Hulda Dudei is spending a few days at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ferdinand
Garbush.
Tony Hemp returned home Monday from a week's visit with his niece, Mrs. Wm.
Adams, at Cissna Park, Ill., coming by auto with Wm. Adams and the latter's
father.
About 40 young people spent an enjoyable time at the Aug. Worchel home Sunday
evening.
Rudolph Spranger and son, Louis built an addition to Roy Mosher's house last
week.
George Meihack and Gus Belter painted Ernest Hemp's barn the first of the week.
Ernestine Mumie of Thorp was here for an over Sunday visit with Julia Timlin at
the August Worchel home.
Arnold and Ben Dudei were at Willard Sunday afternoon.
Wm. Adams and father of Cissna Park, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. August Wegner of
Pine Valley called on relatives here Monday.
Theodore Schlinkert visited his mother Mrs. Augusta Schlinkert and his sister,
Mrs. Erich Schoenherr Sr., her Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bardeleben and little son of Pink Valley visited Sunday at
the H. Nemitz home.
Clara Hemp left Tuesday for Cissna Park, Ill., to remain until Christmas, with
the Wm. Adams family.
