Mrs. Frank Gardner is still at Eau Claire with her little daughter Maymie at the hospital there where the child is now mending nicely.

Mrs. Louis Nickel spent much of the past two weeks at the Chas. Kuechenmeister home assisting in the care of her daughter Mrs. Kuechenmeister, who is very ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Reichert were guests of the Oscar and Frank Jahr families here on Sunday.

Howard Erwin is quite ill with quinsey.

Louis Schoenherr, after a summer's stay at Frank Jahr's, went home to Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Johnny Holtz returned from the Eau Claire hospital last week Thursday and is again with the Lew Smith family where he is convalescing after his recent severe illness and operation.

Mrs. Grant Johnson and Mrs. Ernest Yankee attended the Zorn auction Tuesday.

Fred hanke purchased several head of pure bred Holsteins from the Edelwild farm of L.E. Moh last week.

Clay Converse marketed several loads of potatoes in Granton last week.

We have just learned of the untimely death of Mrs. Chas. Kuechenmeister and it is needless to say that this whole vicinity is universally mourning the loss of this loved one. The funeral, we are advised, is set for Saturday afternoon.
