Boxrucker, Hattie (18 JUN 1892 - 16 SEP 1963)

Funeral services for Hattie Boxrucker, 71, of Colby, who died of a heart attack Monday at 5:30 p.m., at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. will be held Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery. The Rev. John Pinion will officiate at the services.

The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby.

The former Hattie Peuchner (Pueschner) was born June 18, 1892 in Germany. She received her education at Dorchester and was married there on June 17, 1913, to Joseph Boxrucker, who survives her.

The couple farmed west of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) for almost 40 years, and then moved to Colby in 1951.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish at Colby, and the Christian Mothers.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Celia Niebacher, Englewood, Calif.; Mrs. Mildred Beisner and Mrs. Mamie Scidmore, Colby; and Mrs. Josephine Gaylon, Portland, Ore.; and 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Rudolph (Anna) Umlauft, Dorchester; Mrs. John (Mary) Boxrucker, Abbotsford; and Mrs. Elsie Wilke, Sheboygan.
