Accident Victim Buried at Stanley
Stanley, Wis. (Special) - Funeral services for Allen Haas, age three and
one-half months, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Haas, Rt. 2, Thorp, were
conducted by the Rev. Leo Pollack at St. Mary's Church here Thursday morning.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The child died after an accident late Tuesday afternoon during a blizzard north
of Thorp when the Haas car collided with a car heading north. The mother and
child were thrown against the front window, and were brought to victory Hospital
where the child was pronounced dead upon arrival. Mrs. Haas was confined to the
hospital with minor injuries.
