Boie, Harvey J. (22 JUN 1917 - 2 MAR 1997)

Harvey J Boie, 79, of 310 Schmidt Street, Thorp, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday , March 2, 1997 at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Center in Marshfield surrounded by his family after a three year battle with kidney disease.

He was born June 21, 1917, in Thorp, the son of Oscar and Bertha (Haas) Boie. Harvey was united in marriage on May 15, 1940, to AlVera Hubbard.

Survivors include his wife, AlVera: three sons, Rich (Carol) Boie of Thorp, Russ (Paulette) Boie of Waukesha and Gary (Cindy) Boie of Green Bay: eight grandchildren, Kay Schultze, Kari Mueller, Kris Karaba, Tracy Selsor, Kert, Eric, Mike and Robin Boie: five great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Brent, Blake, Brittany, and Bailey: one sister, Alice Timlin of Stanley: one brother Byron Boie of Milwaukee: and one stepsister, Agnella Hanamann of Appleton.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Kay in infancy; and his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at St. Bernard-Hedwig Church in Thorp.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Thorp Funeral Home and one hour before service on Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Center and The Kidney Dialysis Foundation.
