Boyarski, Carol M. Seaman (24 JAN 1954 - 24 FEB 2012)
CAROL M. BOYARSKI, age 58, of Thorp passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at
her home with family at her side. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday,
February 29, 2012 at 11:00am at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley.
Pastors Mike Thompson and Randy Van De Loo will officiate. Burial of cremains
will take place at a later date in New St. Hedwig's Cemetery in Thorp.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm
at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley and on Wednesday, from 10:00am until
time of service also at the church.
Carol Marie Seaman was born on January 24, 1954 at Victory Memorial Hospital in
Stanley to Harvey and Bernice (Haas) Seaman. She received her education at area
schools and graduated from Thorp High School in 1972. Carol was united in
marriage to Richard Boyarski on November 16, 1974 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's
Catholic Church in Thorp. In addition to raising her family, Carol drove school
bus for Rosemeyer Bus Service for many years, and also worked at the Thorp
Elementary School in the kitchen and as a playground supervisor.
In her spare time, Carol enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, exercising, and she
especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a
member of Faith Evangelical Free Church and also volunteered on the Thorp
Pumpkin Fest Committee.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of Thorp; three children: Jason (Marci)
Boyarski of Altoona, Bethany Boyarski-Bowe of Thorp, and Kaye (Jesse)
Nowobielski of Thorp, five grandchildren: Wesley and Colin Boyarski, Natalie and
Taylor Bowe, and Henry Nowobielski. She is also survived by her parents: Harvey
and Bernice Seaman of Thorp; four brothers and one sister: Bruce (Cella) Seaman
of Muskogee, OK, Glenn (Linnae) Seaman of Amery, Donna (Mike Kopacz) Seaman of
Amery, Brad (Darlene) Seaman of Howe, OK, and Keith (Sally) Seaman of Thorp;
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Casmer and
Lillian Boyarski. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed
to benefit local schools.
