Wehrmann, Albert Erwin #2 (01 DEC 1916 – 08 DEC 1996)

Albert Erwin Wehrmann, 80, Loyal, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996. A “Celebration of Life” service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood. The family will greet everyone at 1 p.m. A lunch will follow.

Albert Erwin Wehrmann was born on Dec. 1, 1916, in the township of Warner. He attended Decker School, completing eighth grade. Family concerns then required him to work on the home farm. He married Agnes Bizjak on Nov. 5, 1938.

They farmed in the Greenwood area until purchasing a farm hear Loyal. He also worked at Roddis Plywood during that time. When he retired, he drove school bus and gravel truck and donated time to his church. In September 1993, he entered the Marshfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he spend the remaining three years of his life. He enjoyed music and nature. He hunted and fished and took pride in his farm and garden.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes; five daughters, Bernie (Jim) Treichel, Oregon; Betty (Tom)Comstock, St. Charles, Ill.; Sherri (David) Stebbins, Waldorf, Maryland; Judy (Russ) Haslow, Loyal; and Bonnie (Ray) Weyer, Loyal; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five sisters and brothers, Mary Klug, Chicago, Ill.; Alvin Wehrmann, Greenwood; Arno (Jane) Wehrmann, West Allis; Gladys Tatalovich, New Berlin; and Virginia Gehrt, Rib Lake.
