Mrs. Phil Shaw is slowly recovering.
Mrs. R.C. Norman made her usual trip to Neillsville last week to take instructions in china painting.
Those from here who attended the lectures rendered Saturday and Sunday at Granton by Thomas McClary were Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn and daughter Hazel, Miss Arneson, Max Opelt and daughter Lillie and son Arthur.
O.W. Becker is installing a new Dav’s acetylene lighting plant in his house, creamery and barn. Two men from Indiana are putting in the plant.
Max Opelt, August Teatz, Albert Marg, John Ure and Ed Sternitzky were business callers at Neillsville Monday and to attend the school board convention.
Mrs. E. Montag of Cedarhurst and little son Crague visited her sister Mrs. R.C. Norman Saturday and Sunday.
Clark Brooks, Ralph Scholtz, Max Opelt and August Teatz went to hear the lecture given by Mr. Ott Monday evening at Neillsville.
Henry Grassman came over from Marshfield Sunday and spent the day under the parental roof.
E.F. Brooks is visiting his son Ray, at Madison this week.
Verna, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bass is very sick with typhoid pneumonia.
The young people at Philip Breseman’s gave a party to a large number of their friends Sunday evening.
