ETHEL B. CARLETON/ANTHONY C. BARR MARRIAGE
At the home of Chas. F. Carleton and wife in the Town of Weston,
Clark County, near Tioga, Rev. W. T. Hendren last Thursday, July 5,
1900, spoke the word that makes Mr. Anthony C. Barr and Miss Ethel
B. Carleton one for the remainder of their days. Only the family of
the bride was present, excepting Henry Carleton and wife and their
daughter, Miss Belle, of York.
The groom is the popular blacksmith and implement dealer of
Longwood, and is a hard working, industrious young man of genial
habits, well liked by all who know him.
The bride is also well known in this part of the county, where she
has many admirers of her sterling qualities. A year or two ago she
attended the Greenwood High School. Recently she moved with her
parents to their place near Tioga. Her friends at Longwood will be
pleased to have her back among them once more.
Mr. and Mrs. Barr will make their home for the present time with
his mother. The Gleaner joins their numerous friends in best wishes
for the happy pair.
