NELLIE YOUNGS/FRANK H. KENNEDY MARRIAGE
Dr. Frank H. Kennedy and Miss Nellie Youngs were quietly married
Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock at the M. E. Parsonage, By Rev.
Willmarth. The event came as a total surprise to their numerous
friends, who were completely unaware of the approaching
ceremony.
The bride is one of the choicest young ladies. She is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Youngs of this city (Greenwood, Clark
County). Since her childhood she has lived most of her life in this
vicinity and has been respected by old and young alike. She is a
graduate of the high school, since which time her services have
been rendered at the Big store.
The groom was a resident of this city a number of years ago. Since
that time he has graduated from on of the leading medical school of
this country. He came to Greenwood two years ago and has since
enjoyed a good practice in medicine.
The Doctor and Mrs. Kennedy have gone to housekeeping in the
apartments over the Farmers and Merchants Bank, where they will be
found at home to friends.
