ELIZABETH M. MCCORMICK/WILLIAM H. JACQUES MARRIAGE
Tuesday morning, April 3rd, 1917, at half past eight at St. Mary's
Catholic Church (Greenwood, Clark County), occurred the marriage of
Miss Elizabeth M. McCormick of Greenwood to Mr. William H. Jacques,
W.N.G. of Neillsville. The Rev. Father Volz of Marshfield performed
the ceremony. Miss Marjorie Jacques was bridesmaid and Mr. George
McCormick was best man.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. McCormick of our city
and is a young lady held in the highest esteem by all who know her.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. L. Jacques of Neillsville
and is a young man of sterling worth and is well known to many of
our readers. He is also an active member of Co. A. at Neillsville.
The bride has successfully been teaching the Braun Settlement
School for several years.
Those present from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. George L. Jacques
and Mr. James Jacques of Neillsville, Miss Marjorie Jacques of
Milwaukee and Mr. George McCormick of Milwaukee.
The many friends of the bride and groom, together with the Gleaner,
extend best wishes for many years of happy wedded life.
