EVA SHELDON/CHARLES ADAMS MARRIAGE

Charles Adams and Miss Eva Sheldon were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents in this village on Saturday evening last, Rev. J. B. Bachman officiating clergyman. People who have been anticipating this event for some time were taken by surprise as no notice of the issuance of the marriage license has been received to date, and while they feel somewhat disappointed, they have excused the young couple and wish them much joy. This young couple is well known, having grown up in this village (Thorp, Clark County) from childhood. The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Sheldon. Long may they live and happy may they be I've forgotten the rest of the couplet.
