JULIA ANGELINE DYRE/CHRISTIAN OLSEN MARRIAGE

Wednesday evening, June 20th, 1917, at 8:30 at the home of the bride's mother, occurred the marriage of Mr. Christian Olsen of the Town of Unity, and Miss Julia Angeline Dyre of the Town of Warner, Clark County, Rev. Kleppe officiating.

The groom was attended by his cousin, Siguard Johnson, Miss Dollie Johnson, a cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid.
As the strains of the wedding march played by Mrs. Kleppe were heard, the bridal parties descended the stairs and were ushered into the parlor, this room with its beautiful arch made of lovely white snowballs, intermingled with ferns, resembled a fairy bower. The tall ferns, which had been gather from the woods, made a fitting background for the altar. The pretty bride was attired in a tasteful dress of whit Japanese silk.

She carried a bouquet of white roses and bridal wreath, intermixed with wild ferns. The groom wore a dark blue serge suit. Only near relatives of the bride and groom were present.

After the ceremony the bridal party partook of a bountiful and delicious supper, prepared by the bride's mother. The wedding cake formed an attractive center piece. The bride is a highly esteemed and charming young lady, who has many friends. The groom is an industrious young man of good character. The young couple will make their home on his father's farm, which he has rented. The Gleaner joins with their many friends in wishing them many years of happy wedded life.
