INGA HEMBRE/ARTHUR RUSSEL LUDWIGSEN MARRIAGE
A pretty wedding took place at the Trondhjem church (Greenwood,
Clark County) last Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, when Miss Inga
Hembre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Iver Hembre, was united in
marriage to Mr. Arthur Russel Ludwigsen of Nashotah.
They were attended by the bride's sister, Hilda, and Mr. Leonard
Ludwigsen, brother of the groom.
The bride wore an exquisite gown of white silk charmeuse over dress
of silk georgette trimmed with pearl beads, had a long tulle veil
and carried a large bouquet of pink roses.
The bridesmaid wore a light blue silk georgette trimmed with
ribbon. The church was nicely decorated with white and pink crepe
paper and pretty house plants.
Rev. M. K. Aaberg read the service. Mrs. Aaberg played the wedding
march. After the ceremony relatives and friends went with the
bridal couple to the bride's home, where a delicious four course
wedding dinner was served.
A most enjoyable time was spent by all present.
Mr. and Mrs. Ludwigsen left the same evening for an extended
wedding trip to Montana to visit the bride's brother Prof. Julius
Hembre. The bride is one of the most popular and amiable young
ladies of Trondhjem Congregation.
Mr. Ludwigsen holds a responsible position in the depot at
Nashotah. We extend congratulations to this worthy couple.
