EMMA RYSER/OTTO DENNERT MARRIAGE
Miss Emma Ryser of Greenwood, Clark County and Otto Dennert of this
city were married at 7 o'clock Monday Eve at the groom's home at
583 Morris St., the Rev. McFarlin of La Crosse performing the
ceremony. Preceding the ceremony Mrs. Carl Simantigz sang A Perfect
Day .
The couple was attended by Miss Cora Dennert, the groom's daughter,
and Earl Butcher.
The bride wore a gown of lace over white satin and a wreath of
smilax and roses. Miss Dennert was gowned in light blue and carried
pink and white carnations.
The ceremony was witnessed by a few relatives and friends and the
wedding dinner was served immediately afterward. Covers were laid
for twenty-five and those who assisted in serving were Mrs. Frank
Minseh and Misses Laura Dennert and Dorothy and Leona Metzelfeldt.
Pink and white crepe paper decorated the home.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennert have planned a delightful wedding trip, but
will have to postpone it until summer. They will then make a trip
to Berne, Switzerland, where they will visit at the bride's former
home. They will reside at 583 Morris St.
Mr. Dennert is a retired farmer. (Taken from Fond du Lac Paper)
Miss Ryser is well known here, having made her home with Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Arbs for the past five years. Her many friends join the
Gleaner in extending congratulations.
