RUTH JOHNSON/EDWIN BREDESEN MARRIAGE
The marriage of Miss Ruth Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L.
Johnson of Altoona and Edwin Bredesen of Eau Claire, took place at
the home of the bride, Sunday evening, Oct. 8th, 1922. Rev.
Harkness of the First M. E. Church performed the ceremony before a
group of immediate relatives.
The bridal chorus from Lohengrin, played by Mrs. C. Wilcox,
announced the bridal party and the bride entered with her father
and was given in marriage by him. Miss Laura Sherman of Eau Claire
attend the bride and Chester Johnson, brother of the bride,
attended Mr. Bredesen as best man.
Autumn leaves and fall flowers in vivid shades formed the
decorations of the home. The ceremony was followed by a beautiful
wedding supper and the happy couple left on the evening train for
Minneapolis, where they will reside.
The bride is a graduate of the Altoona High School and for the past
few months has been training at Luther Hospital. The groom is a
fireman on C. St. P.M. O. (Eau Claire Leader)
Mr. Bredesen is well known here (Greenwood, Clark County), being a
son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bredesen.
