LYDIA SRASE/NORMAN COLBY MARRIAGE
Norman Colby sprung quite a surprise on his many friends here
Sunday when he arrived for a short visit at the A. S. Armstrong
home, accompanied by a bride.
On May 29th, 1923, Norman was united in marriage to Miss Lydia
Srase at Muscoda, where he had been teaching. Miss Srase is also
from Muscoda.
Mr. Colby needs no introduction to our many readers as he has made
his home with the Armstrong family here (Greenwood, Clark County)
for many years and is a young man of fine character. His bride,
although a stranger here, is a young lady well liked in her home
town.
During the past year the groom has been assistant principal of the
Muscoda schools. He has accepted a similar position for the coming
year at Manawa, Wis., where the young couple will reside.
The Gleaner joins the many friends of the newly weds in extending
congratulations and best wishes for many years of happy wedded
life.
