STELLA TRESSA ROUM/LEO T. JOHNSON MARRIAGE
The United Lutheran Church was the scene of a very pretty wedding
at noon Sunday, Nov. 1st, 1925, when Miss Stella Tressa Roum became
the bride of Leo T. Johnson, Rev. Aaberg officiating.
The church was beautifully decorated in gold and white streamers
and pretty flowers and plants. The bridal party entered to the
strains of the wedding march played by Mrs. Aaberg.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white charmeuse satin
and silver lace and wore a tulle veil and floral bandeaux. The
bride carried a lovely shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums. The
bridesmaid, Miss Edna Roum a sister of the bride, was charmingly
attired in pink and carried Ward roses.
The groom was attended by his cousin, Mr. Leonard Johnson and both
wore dark serge.
After the ceremony an excellent dinner was served at the home of
the bride's parents to the immediate relatives. The dining room was
decorated in pink and white streamers and beautiful house
plants.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Roum of the Town
of Weston, Clark County, and is a young woman of excellent
character (The rest of my copy was cut off)
