BEULAH SYTH/LAWRENCE COX MARRIAGE
Beulah Syth, daughter of Rob Syth and Lawrence Cox, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Sid Cox, were united in marriage at the Catholic Parsonage at
Greenwood, Clark County at 10:00 A.M. Aug. 11th, 1928, Rev. Wm.
Daniels officiating.
They were attended by Albertine Syth, cousin of the bride and John
Syth, brother of the bride.
The bride wore a gown of white georgette trimmed with deep lace,
and rhinestone ornaments. Her veil was of white net with a cornet
of rhinestones and pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of pink
roses and white sweet peas.
The bridesmaid wore orchid trimmed with cream lace and carried a
bouquet of pink roses and lavender sweet peas.
The groom was attired in a dark blue suit and the grooms man in a
gray suit.
After the ceremony about 40 relatives and friends were given a
wedding dinner at the bride's home. The dining room was decorated
in white streamers and white wedding bells.
Those from out of town who attended were: John Schmoll and family,
Marshfield, Wm. Neville and family and Jim Neville of
Neillsville.
The newlyweds left Saturday for a two week trip throughout several
Western states and possibly will include Yellowstone National
Park.
Both young people are well known throughout the vicinity of
Greenwood, having spent their entire lives here, and both are
graduates of Greenwood High School.
The Gleaner joins their many friends in extending congratulations
and best wishes.
