HELEN MOORE/FLOYD CLINTSMAN MARRIAGE
The marriage of Miss Helen Moore of Bloomington, Ill. to Floyd
Clintsman, son of Mrs. Chas. Clintsman of Janesville Settlement,
Clark County, took place at Bloomington April 18, 1931.
The bride wore a dark blue crepe gown and her sister-in-law, who
attended, also wore blue. The groom was attended by the bride's
brother, G. Moore. The ring service was used and following the
ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's
brother.
The bride was employed as a nurse at the McLain Co.
Tuber-Sanitarium and is a very pleasing young lady. The couple
expects to live on the home place in Janesville Settlement and will
soon have a new bungalow erected.
They were given a miscellaneous shower at the J. S. School last
Saturday evening and received many beautiful gifts, among them
being a complete set of the new popular green glass ware. The
evening was spent in dancing. They also treated the young folks in
a big dance at the Globe hall last Tuesday evening.
The community joins in wishing them a very happy wedded life. (J.
