GRETHCEN KURTH/ARTHUR AMPE MARRIAGE

Mrs. Martin Hauge announces the marriage of her daughter, Miss Gretchen Kurth to Arthur Ampe, the marriage having taken place on June 20th in St. Paul.

The bride was born and grew up here and was educated in Neillsville, Clark County schools. She completed three years of the high school course.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ampe of Pine Valley. He is now employed with the Ward Redmedy Co., but intends to follow farming later. The young couple have rooms at the home of the groom's brother in the Town of York and have begun housekeeping there.

Last week Tuesday a miscellaneous shower was given in their honor by friends and relatives and many beautiful and useful gifts were presented. (Neillsville Press)
