EDNA THORSON/LUCIUS BOWEN MARRIAGE
A quiet wedding took place at Chippewa Falls, Wednesday morning,
when Miss Edna Thorson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Thorson of
Longwood, Clark County, was united in marriage to Mr. Lucius Bowen,
of Owen. The Rev. Schrien of Chippewa Falls performed the ceremony
at his home.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bowen of Mr. and Mrs.
John Bowen of Longwood, and for the past summer has been employed
in this city, as assistant in the Cities Service oil station. The
bride for many months has also held a position in this city, where
both of them have won a host of friends.
The young couple was attended by Edgar Albert of Withee as best man
and the bride by Miss Julia Thorson, a sister.
After the ceremony the happy couple left for a wedding trip to
Minnesota, where the will visit with relatives at Farmington, and
other points in the state for a week or more. (The rest of my copy
