ELEANOR DAHLBY/JAMES PLANK MARRIAGE
A very pretty wedding took place at the M. E. Parsonage Monday eve
at 7:00 o'clock, when Miss Eleanor Dahlby became the bride of James
Plank. Rev. Maddock performed the ceremony.
The happy couple was attended by Miss Mildred Plank, sister of the
groom, acting as bridesmaid and Orton Dahlby, brother of the bride
as best man.
The bride was attired in a gown of turquoise blue flat crepe with
lace trimming. The groom wore dark blue.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Anna Dahlby of this city
(Greenwood, Clark County) and is a charming young lady, a graduate
of our local high school and for the past three years has been an
efficient saleslady and bookkeeper at the New Fair Store.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Plank and is a fine
young man of sterling qualities.
A bountiful wedding dinner was served at the bride's home to a few
relatives and close friends.
The happy couple will for the present time make their home in
Greenwood.
