EDNA MCCONNELL/ARNOLD K. HUBERT MARRIAGE
Miss Edna McConnell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McConnell of
the Town of Eaton, Clark County, became the bride of Arnold K.
Hubert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hubert of Spencer, Wednesday
evening, June 7th, 1933, at 7:30 o'clock at the parsonage of the
Lutheran Church at Spencer, Rev. A. C. Stapel officiating. Only
near relatives were present.
Miss Mabel McConnell, sister of the bride acted as bridesmaid and
the groom was attended by Francis Scherer.
The bride was attired in blue silk crepe with hat to match. The
bridesmaid wore a gown of dark peach crepe.
The bride is a graduate of the local high school and completed a
rural course at the State Teacher's College at Stevens Point and
has been teaching the school at Cole Corners, Town of Sherman for
three years and taught at Cary Bluff near Pittsville. The groom is
a graduate of the Spencer High School and is employed on his
father's farm.
