About 75 people gathered to pay tribute to the Civil War Veteran, Curtis Markham, at the Greenwood City Cemetery. The American Legion sponsored the event with help from Karen Fleischman and this Internet Library site. Numerous family members were in attendance and Karen laid a beautiful wreath on the marker during the tribute. |
The Prayer and graveside service was held beneath a pine tree which is believed to have been planted over the grave of Curtis Markham. |
