Burt, Almira (23-Jul-1870)

Married, at the residence of Mr. C. L. Chandler, in the town of Weston, Clark County, July 23, 1870, by Rev. J. J. Walker, Mr. Robert Schofield to Miss Almira Burt, all of Clark County.

And thus have two more hearts been gladdened by the grateful benediction of Hymen and may they and those who come after them ever have cause to rejoice that they made the holy alliance and in after years may Bob and his fair bride look back on the ever memorable past, and see wherein they have improved each shining hour from the moment of their union till the dawn of that new light, which shall make bright the future of the gook, the true and the beautiful. May all that is beautiful and nice surround their pathway through life, and when the last page of the book of time shall have been covered by the blotter, may they both feel that they are better for having been married.
