Married, in this village (Neillsville, Clark County), on Thursday, Oct. 5th, 1871, by Rev. Harvey Palmer, Mr. E. H. Markey and Miss Hattie Babcock, all of Neillsville.

Well, Ed, You know how it is yourself now, and we know, you re happy with a perfect jewel of a wife. Our warmest congratulations are extended to you and yours, and a thousand heartfelt wishes for many years of happiness and connubial felicity.
And to both of these loving pair, may it be granted, that when descending the downward plane of life, a numerous posterity shall rise up to bless and reward them.
