Ferris, Mrs. L. (Marriage 06/13/1872)
Married, at the bride's residence in Neillsville, Clark County, on
Thursday evening June 13, 1872, by Rev. H. W. Bushnell, I. H.
Marsh, M.D., to Mrs. L. Ferris.
This occasion will be remembered by a large circle of invited guest
as one of good cheer and social enjoyment. The guests were all
experienced in wedded life. The hearty congratulations given the
newly married pair might reasonably be taken as evidence that
married people in Clark County agree well, and live amiable, happy
lives together. We are gratified to learn that this wedding does
not rob us of a valued member of society, as is often the case, but
that we gain rather the permanent residence of the happy
bride-groom whose short stay here has gained him hosts of friends
as a man, and an enviable reputation as a skillful physician.
