Kaffernus, May (Marriage 1 JAN 1925)

Miss May Kaffernus of Riplinger and Alfred Karsten of this place were married on New Years eve, at the home of the groom's parents, south east of the village. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Goeten of Green Grove, in the presence of the relatives and a few friends, after which a wedding supper was served. The young couple is well known having been reared here and have a host of friends who wish them a happy and prosperous future. The groom has a position with the Laabs Cheese Co. and they will be at home to their friends in the rooms above the cheese factory.
