Loope, Welthie (Marriage - 2 FEB 1882)
Married, at the residence of the groom's parents, in Loyal, Clark
County, on the evening of Feb. 2nd, 1882, by the Rev. O. A.
Britton, Mr. Thomas B. Philpott of Loyal, and Miss Wealthie Loope,
of Omro, Wis.
The groom is the younger son of Harry Philpott, Esq., one of the
well to do business men of Loyal, and the bride is a successful
teacher in the public schools of Clark County. A good number of
invited guests were present, and many valuable gifts were presented
the happy couple. A bountiful repast was served. Willie Philpott
presided at the organ, and all seemed happy. Tom and Welthie have a
host of friends, who wish them much joy in their new relation in
life.
