Timmerman, Anna (Marriage - JUL 1890)
The Plymouth Reporter gives the following account of the marriage
of Dr. W. A. Leason, formerly of this city (Neillsville, Clark
County) , to Miss Anna Timmerman, of Chicago:
"The marriage of Dr. W. A. Leason, of this city, and Miss Anna
Timmerman, of Chicago, occurred this morning at 8 o'clock, at the
residence of J. J. Caldwell, of Lyndon.
The ceremony was pronounced by Rev. Walter Wells, of Onion River,
and witnessed by a small assemblage of relatives and intimate
friends. The bridal attendants were E.R. Leason and Miss Ethel
Caldwell. The bride was beautifully attired in a costume of cream
albatross and surrah silk. Miss Caldwell was also similarly
attired. The ceremony was followed by a wedding breakfast, and
concluding which Dr. and Mrs. Leason and a party of friends took
carriages and were driven to Adell, where the happy couple took the
morning Milwaukee express for a brief tour.
Among those present at the ceremony were Miss Letta Leason, of
Neillsville F. O. Balch, of Milwaukee, and Dr. Leason, of
Sheboygan. A number of the bride's relatives from Chicago were in
attendance. Dr. and Mrs. Leason will return to the city next week
and immediately commence housekeeping."
