Gwin, Cora (Marriage - 10 DEC 1890)

A friends sends us the following welcome account of a recent marriage in Loyal:

"The most brilliant society event of the season was the marriage, at the residence of the bride's parents, at 8 o'clock, Wednesday evening, Dec. 10, 1890, of Mr. Chester Cannon and Miss Cora Gwin, Rev. James Conner, of the Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. The bride was prettily attire in Surrah trimmed with duchess lace. There were present, besides the hundred and fifty invited guests at Loyal, P. Brown and wife, of Augusta B.F. Brown and wife of Minneapolis J.B. Brown and wife, Roy Brown and Miss Winnie Brown, of Thorp J. Jackson and wife of Eau Claire Dan Kennedy and wife, W. Marshall and wife and Mrs. H. C. Marshall, of Neillsville.
