Youmans, Mattie (Marriage - 17 JUN 1891)
Married, at the residence of H.J. Youmans, south of the city
(Neillsville, Clark County), Wednesday, June 17, 1891, Mr. James
Kimball to Miss Mattie Youmans, both of Neillsville, by the Rev. W.
T. Hendren, assisted by the Rev. James russel.
Miss Youmans is a sister of Druggist H.J. Youmans and Attorney C.A.
Youmans and is a young lady who is well and favorably known in this
vicinity. She has been a successful teacher in the schools of the
city for some time but now Mr. Kimball has stepped in and taken
possession and the schools have to look elsewhere for a
teacher.
Mr. Kimball needs no introduction to our readers. He is one of the
few whose qualifications have enabled him to hold a position in a
post office, alike during a democratic and republican
administration. The newly married couple has a host of friends who
will join with us in wishing them long life and prosperity.
